She&#8217;s experienced weight gain, hormone imbalance, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa claims that after many trials and errors she has finally discovered the secret to creating a perfect recipe for a toned and healthy body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Secret #1: Managing Stress and Hormones<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Stress causes our bodies to release\u00a0cortisol, which can cause overeating, fatigue and excessive drinking.\u00a0Even trying to lose weight may have the opposite result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa Villela says, &#8220;I wouldn&#8217;t recognize myself if I looked in the mirror.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;My face is first to gain weight.&#8221;&nbsp;I believe that the stress from wanting to lose a lot of weight prevented me from losing weight and regaining my health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hours in the television industry are long and it is hard to keep a regular routine.&nbsp;Vanessa claims that being on TV hasn&#8217;t changed her perception of body image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Vanessa claims that she doesn&#8217;t work out regularly<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa was a child who never worked out regularly because of her 15-hour workday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa says, &#8216;I was exhausted from work, and the energy of the character [from the soap opera] was so intense, that my cortisol, or stress hormone, was super high. This caused a lot problems with my thyroid, hormones, and everything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t even know how many pounds I gained, but it was a lot.&#8221;&nbsp;You can see that I went from a size 00 to a 3 or 4 in a matter of months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa claims that she has not seen any results after a year of spinning classes for crossfit.&nbsp;Vanessa wanted to heal her body naturally. I will focus on releasing the stress. I have started to lose weight again.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think we sometimes don&#8217;t put ourselves first.\u00a0It&#8217;s difficult to set aside time to get up early. We all lead very busy lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Secret #2: Intermittent fasting<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa says that intermittent fasting is the key to everything. It helps with my metabolism, skin health, gut health and energy levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You might be wondering what an intermittent fasting program looks like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t have a strict schedule, so there is no 11am-8pm.&nbsp;I&#8217;ll wait up to 14 hours if I eat my last meal, say at 9pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa advises that if you&#8217;re like me, and don&#8217;t feel like waiting for lunch will do the trick, she begins her day by drinking celery juice or a cup of coffee. She does this until she has completed her 14-15 hours fasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Vanessa suggests that drinking hot water without lemon, rather than with it, is one of your healthiest options.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa suggests that drinking hot water without lemon, rather than with it, is the best thing you can do for your health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She stresses that the key to curbing cravings is to listen to your body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa explains, &#8220;I will sometimes have a protein shake with superfoods and fruit in it. If I feel like having a burger, I&#8217;ll just have the burger sans bun. This will keep you motivated and able to complete a workout for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa says that she combines it with other workouts such as weight training, boxing, running a 3k, and others, sometimes in-person and sometimes online. She uses\u00a0Karen Lord\u00a0or\u00a0Strong Confident living\u00a0if there is not much time, because the sessions are only 10-20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find a workout you like and do it for fun.&nbsp;The only person who will benefit from this workout is you, and you&#8217;ll feel great when you finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>You are the only one who will benefit from this workout.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Even Vanessa, the reality star admits to feeling unmotivated at times.&nbsp;Vanessa emphasizes the benefits of working out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa says, &#8216;Somedays I don&#8217;t feel like going to the gym and that happens to me now. That way you will feel as if someone is there with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Secret #4 A Gluten-Free Diet<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa&#8217;s diet is healthy because she avoids gluten, processed foods, corn syrup and sugary foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa also says that she always has grass-fed beef in her pantry because of its hormones, as well as a variety different fruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Vanessa also says that grass-fed beef is a food she always has in her kitchen<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa: &#8216;I&#8217;ve tried everything, including keto diets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;But now that I&#8217;m not restricting myself anymore, my cravings have stopped.&nbsp;Even though I was on a strict diet, I didn&#8217;t lose weight and I felt like I craved food constantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Like if i would crave chocolate, i give myself permission to eat a little every day if i want.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa&#8217;s food routine is not very strict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanessa says, &#8216;I follow a healthy food plan because I want a healthy diet.
